This documentary is about a research and art project carried out in kindergartens in Øygarden municipality in 2022, near Bergen. In a joint project, we staged joint exploration of life in the biotope between land and sea with the aim of an aesthetic look at the sea and a local mindset and value set.

This film is a bit of a film essay and a bit of a documentary. It is an exploration of menopause and of the ways to explore it, the gaps of knowledge about it, the shame, the silences surrounding it.

Showroom installations

In addition to the normal film screenings we will have a showroom where you can find some installations showcasing innovative learning projects. All these projects use film and technology together and we are pleased to present them at our festival.

TeraVri – Meet the Hansen family

In the learning resource about the Hansen family, students get to do a virtual home-visit and discover by themselves the situation of the family. There are several small videos about the family presented throughout the virtual house, which teaches the students about risk- and resilience.

The film stages Wolfgang Saus, a German Obertone singer. He represents European values by singing key words of the European anthem: Brüder (brothers) and Freude (Joy). Meanwhile an amplifier, standing nearby, emits sounds that grow into words and finally into comprehensible sentences

«Battery Fjell 1945» takes the players back in time to the year 1945, to the historical fortress, Fjell Battery, located at the Norwegian west coast. Through a VR experience, players get to explore the problems and challenges that followed the end of the Second World War.
