Pedagogical value

This app was developed for the stand that the Faculty of law -UiB- had at the Research Fair in the city of Bergen. Children were given the chance to hold an iPad with this AR app, which shows some of the complexities and conflicting interest that arise with wind power turbines and issues in law and regulation. After using the iPad, students met some of our researchers that gave further information and answered questions.

Info

"This AR app was designed as a part of the Faculty of Law´s presentation stand at the Research Fair for the city of Bergen. This fair gathers hundreds of students and the general public where they will be met with researchers. The aim for the app is to give children the chance to experience some of the dilemmas and conflicting interest that play a role in the development of wind power, and how law and regulation play a role in this complex landscape. The app is not meant to explain all the judicial concepts, but to spark interest with the users, so they can then talk and ask questions to the researchers that are present during the event."
