English variant | digitally. This variant of the development programme for PhD supervisors is carried out in English and digitally.

The development programme for PhD supervisors strengthens the participants’ competence in PhD supervision. The programme provides insight into both practical supervision approaches, current theory and research on PhD supervision. It features a process-oriented and collegial working method where participants focus on their own development needs, reflection on their own practice and mutual colleague observation of PhD supervision. The programme includes several compulsory and voluntary gatherings, digital learning resources, development work in cross-faculty teams, as well as three work requirements. The scope of work corresponds to around 100 hours and satisfies the requirements for PhD supervisors at UiT.
