A personal film about living with DLD. Developmental Language Disorder. The film «A little bit of me» is a personal portrait of Signe where she explains what it is like to live with language difficulties. The film was produced on an independent basis and was created when she was deployed as a student at NRK Troms. Through her personal history, Signe wants to train others in how language difficulties can create obstacles and misunderstandings. The film can be used as a kick-off to discuss topics such as outsiders and language difficulties in secondary school and upper secondary school. And can also provide new insights for healthcare professionals and employers who encounter people with language difficulties.Specifications

It is a story of how belonging to a minority can be both empowering and demanding. It comes with certain expectations – from the Southern Sami community, from Norwegian society, and from the sisters themselves.
