About

A woman approaches the entrance to her workplace while a sports commentator provides live play-by-play of her every move. She successfully uses her access card to enter the building—but the commentator is not impressed. Why? She had her card visibly hanging around her neck while walking through the city, exposing sensitive credentials. With humor and a touch of suspense, the film highlights a common security oversight in everyday routines.

Pedagogical value

This is one of six short awareness-films. The film series is part of an educational initiative focused on everyday security awareness. These short and humorous films, highlights a specific topic—such as access card use, email safety, confidentiality, or social media habits—through the lens of a sports commentator narrating ordinary actions as if they were high-stakes performances. The pedagogical framework emphasizes engagement through humor and relatability. The films are used in onboarding sessions for new employees and students, sparking discussion and reflection on best practices in security. They serve as conversation starters and can be followed by interactive activities such as quizzes, group tasks, or just small talk over a cup of coffee. Even when used independently, the films offer strong pedagogical value by making abstract security concepts tangible and memorable. Their flexible format allows educators to adapt them to various learning environments and audiences.
